Interesting to read your inner thoughts and feelings. This honesty is very attracting to many people. From the outside the connections you have seem to be deep and bountiful, and not that they aren’t, but I think you express a feeling many people myself included of loneliness while being surrounded by amazing connections. Somehow our brain likes to isolate us without consent, which is rude lol! Thanks for all that you do.

The loneliness thing is so bizarre. It’s named an epidemic and I can see why. So cultural and pervasive.

And that’s stuff I’d never be able to get across in short posts. Longer-form stuff like this really helps.

That’s been the route I have been taking with the blog. It’s an extension of me the creative behind Wrong Side. I think more people need to hear from normal people that it is something everyone deals with on some level. They are not alone, we are not alone.

Sometimes it takes reaching out and sometimes it takes loving yourself more to be ok being alone.

Oh Jonathan, these are truly amazing photos! Full of life and soul, true gems! ❤️ Your writing is a joy to read especially today when I went to visit my parents' and older sister's grave. I posted on Facebook. I still have my younger sister and she has been a real support to me these days. I am funding it hard to find my feet, and the time of the year is not ideal to get a job or more students. We'll see what will happen.

Tomorrow I will join a walking club from the Baptist Church I decided to attend [nope, there are not Southern Baptists!] I shall keep you posted on my walking here in São Paulo!
